4. Research Questions 1. Do you offer consignment to indie artists? They do work with local artists (which I feel was their strong suite here) with promotions and facilitating records heavily with local artists. Stand for local Iowa artist records and merch 2. How often do marketing reps visit from record labels? They don’t have any reps come to the shop. They run strictly on re-sale (learned this after walking into the store)

5. Events Nothing promoted for events in-store. Event they are sponsoring that’s promoted via Facebook

6. Exclusives Every Saturday local radio station KGGO spins 7 records starting at 7pm where they have an exclusive deal with them to get records from

7. Promo Promotion boards were well used and filled with local shows in the upcoming months.

8. SWAG Only thing available as SWAG would’ve been promo for their business with this informational handout.

9. Reflection Great big space to fill with the unique memorabilia and apparel resell. Well done in supporting local music, though it’s where I see one biggest opportunity of local growth. Offering in-store live session off a mall would be very desirable while driving a local music culture. Needs to sell new records and get set up with distribution. Great atmosphere but very cluttered in areas.
