4. The three main parts of the ear are the outer ear, the middle ear, and the middle ear The outer ear is separated from the middle ear by a thin membrane called eardrum .

5. The middle ear is separated from the inner ear also by a membrane The outer ear has canal. This canal is lined with wax and tiny hairs

7. The common ailments of the ears are ear discharge and inflammation Boils are also common on the outer ear When infection and inflammation occur you will have an earache

8. Caring of your ears

9. Never use clips or toothpicks to clean your ears. Use cotton buds or soft cloth instead Do not allow your playmates to shout into your ears. When playing, take care that your ears are not hit by hard objects Ask your mother to take you to a doctor if any ear problem
