Science Report We are gonna learn about: Organisms and their environment in Desert and Tropical Rain Forest

Tropical Rain Forest What is a Tropical Rain Forest? A tropical rain forest is simply an area of tall trees, mostly evergreen trees, and a large amount of rainfall. Facts about rain forests: Rainforests are a powerful natural climate solution. Rainforests cover 3% of the planet, yet they are home to half of our terrestrial creatures. Much of the life in rainforests is found in trees. What organisms can be found in a Tropical rain forest? Rainforests are populated with  insects , arachnids, worms, reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals. Insects, For example: Butterflies and Beetles Arachnids: Spiders and ticks Worms: Earthworm Reptiles: Snakes and Lizards Amphibians: Frogs and Fishes Birds: Parrots and Toucans Mammals: Sloths and Jaguars

Desert What is a Desert? A desert is a large land full of sand, an area devoid of life, having a warm climate, and receiving less than 25 centimeters of sporadic rainfall annually. Facts about Deserts: A lot of the animals that live in the desert are nocturnal. A desert receives less than 10 inches. 20% of the land’s surface is desert. Deserts are populated with: Lizards Geckos Toads Jackrabbits Camels Snakes Spiders Meerkats
