3. CIRCUIT DIAGRAM


PROCEDURE

1) Make the circuit as shown in the circuit diagram.
2) Adjust the gate current.
3) Increase forward voltage to turn ON the SCR
4) Note down the ammeter ( I

) and voltmeter (V
AK
) readings.
5) Plot the graph for the reading taken.
6) Repeat the procedure by increasing the Gate current and plot the graph.
