1. Good Morning Ladies and Gentleman! A very good and warm morning to everyone assembled here, I m Areez Irfan , I m Khadija erfan . Khadija : The galaxy of intellectuals, your Excellency, invited guests, teachers and my dear friends – how different is this morning(u say looking at Areez ). Areez : Indeed very wonderful... the vibes around tell a beautiful tale, which is truly unforgettable.  Dear audience, you will yourself discover as the colours of this event embellish us all together. Khadija: It is mark of our undying tradition to invoke the almighty at the beginning of an important event. Like the great philosopher once said “The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays.” I like to call upon Hafiz --------to pray for us. Thank you ------ we all feel blessed indeed! Areez : Well, we shall be your hosts for the day...It’s my great pleasure and the first and foremost duty – On behalf of the Patron(Sir Nabeel khalid ), President( Mohsin zahoor ) and SET and SME Members .We warmly welcome you all to this beautiful program... I assure you that this program shall be full of exuberance and excitement, and will create some beautiful memories for us all… it is rightly said “Days are not lost when memories are created”.

2. Khadija : We feel honored to have with us...1......................................2……..…….…............ 3………………............ (Mention the names of special guests and a brief introduction) Areez : Without taking much of your time, permit us to start the program. Khadija do you feel some turbulence around here ? Khadija :  Yes, I do – the heart beats have gone up – and everyone seems eager and excited for the olympiad . Areez : Well, here you are.  Today, we will  have variety of programs prepared under the able stewardship of our society members. AT 09:00 AM Areez: Now its time to start our first competition which is solve the circuits and for that,the particpants are requested to raise their hands… Khadija : Areez ,(pause for me to say yes..)I always had this question in my mind, why we never see girls running after engineers. Areez : Hmmmmm lets change the question because believe me this is going to hurt lot of people here. *(If someone comes up for a speech) Khadija : Kindly give him a warm welcome.  Areez : ( Aftr sirs speech) :  Thank you so much sir .We are really fortunate to have your guidance and support with us. Without you all this would not have been possible.

3. (if there is any performance..) Khadija :  Now HOLD YOUR BREATH FOR the first performance. Yes... Mr X is going to draw the strings of our hearts and add his soothing voice to cherish our souls by chanting a beautiful song. Areez: Sher arz hai Tere Husn Ko Parde Ki Zaroorat Nahi Hai Ghalib Kon Hosh Mein Rehta Hai Tujhe Dekhne K Baad .. Please put your hands together to welcome Mr X to sing a song.... Areez :  That was indeed a lovely performance. How captivating! How solacing. The tone of music still tickling my ear drums… keep it up my dear (joke we can crack incase people stop laughing) Khadija :Areez,soon you will be graduating as an engineer..so what do you think about engineering? Areez : Engineering Is like a.... . . typical Pakistani public toilet . . People outside r desperate to go in & people inside r dying to finish n come out......!!

4. Circuit Designing     Description: Circuit designing is a process of designing a certain circuit according to the given scenario. In this even certain scenarios (related to electrical engineering) will be given to the team of students and they will be asked to design the circuit according to the given scenario. This event will test the analytical ability of the participant i.e. what he had studied so far during his electrical engineering.     Rules and Regulations: A team will consist of either one or two members. Scenarios will be given to each team. There can be two to three scenarios (It will depend on the difficulty level). There will be no hardware implementation in this event. Scenario can be anywhere from the engineering courses. Scenarios can vary from team to team depending upon the batch (e.g. F12, F13, F14 or F15). Every team can take two hints. Maximum time allowed will be 30 minutes. There will be two rounds, in the first round all teams will participate. From which top 10 teams will qualify for the final round. 5. Micro-Controller Competition Description: Micro-controller competition includes the coding and implementation of “8051 micro-controller” on “ keil ” and “ proteus ” software respectively. Participants will be provided with a scenario which they must code and implement within the given time. Evaluation Criteria: Basic Logic Efficiency Time Taken Rules: Group of maximum 2 members is allowed. Time allocated for the scenario will be 30-45 min, depending upon the given scenario. No electronic devices will be allowed. Only software based implementation will be required. Team achieving the maximum approximation of solution for the given problem in less time and less penalties would be declared winner. If two teams complete their task at a same time and their scenario is working perfectly, then the one who implemented neatly on software would be a winner. In case of cheating, respective team will be disqualified immediately. Decision of judges will be final. Participating teams must report to management before competition starts otherwise that team will be disqualified. Every group member should have to follow the rules and regulations of lab during the competition. Otherwise the respective team will be disqualified immediately. Any damage caused by participant can also cause a heavy penalty. 6. This was all for today. I hope you all have enjoyed this mesmerizing occasion. I, on behalf of  Olympiad team,  thank all of you, for coming and remaining with us during this delighting event. I am especially thankful to Chief Guest Mr …………………… Mr ………… Mr ……………(mention the names of special guests as many there are) for his/their cordial joining. It really proved  encouraging for us all. I express gratitude to the organizers, who work round the clock to make this program successful. I thank all those who implicitly or explicitly became the part of this event.  And, I congratulate all the participants for the catchy and captivating performance. We are all pleased with their performance.  Thanks to you all. I would like to conclude this event with some couplets of  Jigar Murad’aabadi .
