SE Remote Access Request for External (HE)
RESPONSIBILITYPROCESS FLOW DETAILS
Requester/SE PIC
Requester from HE will get local SE PIC to apply for the SSL VPN remote access to SE network
Manual form location : \\10.95.144.27\dept\IT User Manual\SSL VPN - WARP AP REPLACEMENT\Form\Remote Access request form.xlsx
Please indicate the required application access (one line for one application access); MES/Share Folder/Traceability/MotionBoard
e.g. line 1 for "Share Folder request", line 2 for "Traceability request"
SE PIC
SSL VPN approval flow
SE PIC -> Requester HOD (approval) -> IT HOD (approval) -> MD (approval)
SE PIC SE PIC will submit the completed form to IT Network team
IT Network Team
IT Network team will create the user SSL VPN account and grant the application network access accordingly
IT Network team will provide the SSL VPN account information to SE PIC (for IT Helpdesk request application access)
IT Network team will install the SSL VPN client on the requester PC and manual will be provided on how to connect to SE using SSL VPN client
* Need to proceed to next step for the IT Helpdesk request in order to be able to access to the required application
SE PIC
Once the SSL VPN account created, SE PIC will need to request for the application access through IT Helpdesk : http://10.95.144.62/
i) "Server/Share Folder Request Form" for "Share Folder Access".
For other department share folder access, SE PIC will need to get the email approval from respective department HOD and attached in the
IT Helpdesk request form
e.g. Module PIC need to request the access to Cell share folder, email approval needed from Cell HOD.
ii) "SAP/MES Access Request Form" for "MES System Access"
iii) "Traceability System Access Request Form" for "Traceability System Access"
For MotionBoard access, need to request from MotionBoard Module administrator
SE PIC
IT Helpdesk approval flow
SE PIC -> Requester Manager (approval) -> Requester HOD (approval) -> IT Manager (approval) -> IT PIC (access granting)
IT PIC
IT PIC will grant the access accordingly based on the IT Helpdesk request
Ticket will be closed once the access has been granted and requester will received email notification for the request closure
IT PIC will provide the step/guide accordingly on how to access to the required application
SE PIC/Requester Once the access has been granted, SE PIC will need to inform the requester to check their access to the required application
