These activities include investment, output, distribution and consumption, at all sections of life, goods and services. An economy is called the nation where these economic activities are conducted. Interaction with nature to obtain products. Mainly produces raw materials. Example: Mining, Agriculture, Fishing etc. Primary Sector
Secondary Sector It is manufacturing sector. Uses raw materials from primary sector and produces final goods. All the industries which provides physical goods come under this sector. Example: Iron and steel industries, cotton textile industries
Tertiary sector It includes all the services like tran sport and communication. Tertiary sector acts as the connector between the primary and secondary sectors. Example: Banking, transport and communication, medical services, educational services etc.
