Introduction: SEL is an important part of a child’s development and education. In an age where technology, social media, and the news cycle are constantly changing. Students are facing unprecedented social and emotional challenges; it is essential that they learn how to navigate their emotions It focuses on developing skills that help kids understand and manage their emotions, set goals, and develop relationships with others. It also helps kids practice empathy and build resilience and to help kids cope with the stress and uncertainty of our current situation.

Why do we need Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) now more than ever? to help students navigate the increased stress, anxiety, and social challenges exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and to equip them with essential skills for emotional resilience, empathy, and effective communication in a rapidly changing world. SEL fosters a supportive learning environment that enhances academic achievement and prepares students for future personal and professional success.

A. Supporting Students' Social and Emotional Development through Technology
