Entrepreneur Entrepreneur is taken from the French word entreprende which means to undertake. Webster Dictionary explains the term entrepreneur as “ one who organises , manages and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise .”

Classification of entrepreneurs Entrepreneurs can be classified according to 1. Timing of venture creation 2. Socio- cultural variables 3. Based on Entrepreneurial Activity
