About This Presentation

In the automotive testing lab, the engineers may sometimes think of ECU validation as a box-ticking exercise. You run the predefined test cases, get your pass/fail results, and move on. That mindset worked when ECUs were deterministic, when every input had a predictable, rule-based output.

SECURITY CONTROLS BUILT INTO OUR
PUBLIC KEY INFRASTRUCTURE SERVICES

HARDWARE-BASED CERTIFICATE SIGNING
The system uses a physical Hardware Security Module (HSM)
located in a secure data center in Germany. This HSM signs each
token, ensuring itis cryptographically bound to its origin,

INFRASTRUCTURE SECURITY AND ASSURANCE

We maintain infrastructure integrity through ongoing security
monitoring, automated backups, and regular penetration testing
to ensure a secure, tamper-resistant token service.

STANDARDS-BASED COMPLIANCE AND VALIDATION
The service follows NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and TISAX standards.
These frameworks ensure strong information security, effective
risk management and consistent governance across the entire

service lifecycle.

ISOLATED AND SEGMENTED INFRASTRUCTURE

Our PKI backend is both physically and logically isolated from
general IT systems. Only authorized personnel have access, which
significantly reduces risk and limits the attack surface.

MUTUAL TLS AND CREDENTIAL-BASED AUTHENTICATION
Access is secured with mutual TLS and username-pässword.
‘authentication. This layered approach ensures only verified users
with valid certificates can access PKI functions. !
