16. If a student helps a blind man cross a road it is a service done to humanity. We as a group of students can render service to people ravaged by flood, cyclone, famine and earthquake.

17. We can help the nation in the removal of illiteracy. We can teach the people about basic health care. We can look to the sanitation (Cleanliness) of our own area.

18. We may have a role to play in awakening public opinion against social evils like drug addiction, casteism, dowry system, by taking out procession or organizing seminars. We can nurse the sick, donate blood, and hospitalize them in time of need. Thus it is a duty of the every citizen in the society to be charitable towards his fellowmen.

19. Conclusion: Students should keep in mind one thing. Charity begins at home. It is a student’s first and foremost duty to serve his parents, brothers and sisters, his kith and kin. A student, who does not render service to the members of his own family, cannot serve the distressed section of the society.
