ABSTRACT Grass cutter are popular today as it does more work in less time interval .But due to much use of IC engine it leads to cause pollution .In order to minimize this will work on solar Grass cutter.
HISTORY The first grass cutter was invented by Edwin Budding in 1830 in England. Budding was granted British patient for such invention. Fig. First Grass Cutter
PROBLEM STATEMENT The past machines are manually operated and required more time . As use of IC engines it cause both air and noise pollution and also it requires high maintenance.
INRODUCTION Solar Grass cutter is a developed device which uses solar energy as a fuel and leads to cause no air/noise pollution. This device has no harmful impact on the environment.
WORKING PRINCIPLE The solar grass cutter works in such a way that it takes solar radiations from the sunlight through solar panels and converts it into mechanical energy which cause blades to spin.
COMPONENTS USED The main components of solar powered grass cutter are as follows. Solar panels Batteries DC motor Solar charger Mechanism used Blades Wheels

ADVANTAGES No fuel consumption Portable and Compact Easy to use Environmental friendly
LIMITATIONS Large time is required to remove grass. Manually Operated. Difficulty to operate in rainy seasons.
CONCLUSION By doing this project we tried to bring grass cutter on an advance level which difinitely works as same as traditional machine without harming the environment and easily operated by anyone.
