Solis, a women’s wellness company, is the largest independent provider of breast imaging
services in the United States currently serving over 500,000 patients in 4 major markets. In
2013, Solis diagnosed 1,682 cancers. The Company’s success is predicated on research based
clinical protocols that detect breast cancers earlier and reduce superfuous testing and related
patient anxiety. Currently health care legislation strongly supports preventative healthcare.
Founded in 1987, Solis Mammography earned its leadership and reputation by providing a full
range of breast health services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, computer
aided detection, breast ultrasound, bone density, stereotactic and ultrasound guided biopsy, breast specifc gamma
imaging and breast MRI.  Solis operates 25 dedicated breast clinics in Texas, Ohio, North Carolina and Arizona.

Market Opportunities
Annually in the U.S., 255,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer and 40,000 will die from
the disease.  Breast cancer is the most common occuring cancer in women after skin cancer,
constituting 1 in 4 cancers diagnosed. Data shows less than 50% of all women over 40 get a
mammogram while current guidelines recommend women begin screening annually at age 40.
Mammograms are typically a fully covered service requiring no copay or deductible.  The total
market potential is estimated at $4 billion of which only $2 billion is currently being served.

Advantages for Hospitals from a Joint Venture Partnership
Because women are usually the primary healthcare decision makers for their families.  A great
reoccurring annual mammography experience can translate into additional family members and
friends becoming patients in other service areas of a hospital. Hospital partners of Solis receive the
following:
• The expertise of Solis to deliver world class breast screening and diagnosis delivered
  to hospital campus.
• Optimized downstream surgery and oncology revenue from diagnosed breast cancers.
• Improved financial performance of mammography through volume growth.
• Enhanced patent care, patient satisfaction and patient loyalty.
• Opportunities for improved quality and experience of care in breast imaging.
• An opportunity for risk based contracting (ACO) of mammography.
• Capitalizes the revenue growth of Solis and expands EBITDA margin by using the hospital’s tax ID
  (favorable HOPD reimbursement rates).
In 2013, Solis
diagnosed
1,682 cancers.
