What Are State Institutions? State institutions are organizations that help run a country. They make and enforce laws. They protect people’s rights and keep peace and order. They help guide economic growth and justice in society.

Purpose of State Institutions To maintain justice and order To protect citizens’ rights To promote good governance To support social and economic development To ensure fairness and transparency

Different State Institution 1. Executive Branch – Enforces laws 2. Legislative Branch – Makes laws 3. Judicial Branch – Interprets laws

Executive Branch Headed by the President Includes the Vice President, Cabinet members, and government departments Enforces laws and manages national affairs

Legislative Branch Composed of the Senate and House of Representatives Creates and passes laws Represents the people’s voice in government

Judicial Branch Headed by the Supreme Court Includes lower courts and judges Interprets laws and ensures justice is served

Importance of State Institutions 1. Maintain of Law and order 2. Protect of rights and Freedoms 3. Promote of Economic Development 4. Enhancement of Governance and Accountability

Importance of State Institutions Maintenance of Law and Order – They keep peace and safety by enforcing laws and settling disputes.
