3. Question 1: Why did God give the Babylonian king this dream?

4. Daniel 2:28 “But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets , and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days.”

5. Question 2: When the king’s counselors failed to reveal and interpret the dream, what was Nebuchadnezzar’s command?

6. Daniel 2:12 “For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destro y all the wise men of Babylon.”

7. Question 3: When Daniel learned about the death decree, what did he ask of the king and what did he tell his friends?

8. Daniel 2:16 “Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time , and that he would shew the king the inter p retation .”

9. Daniel 2:17 “Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah , Mishael , and Azariah , his companions:”

10. Daniel 2:18 “That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret ...”

11. Question 4: When the Lord revealed the dream to Daniel, to whom did he give praise and credit?

12. Daniel 2:23, 28 “I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers... But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets…”

13. When Daniel had a life or death crisis in his life, and no one had the answer, he turned to God and God answered his prayer.

14. In the same way that God answered Daniel’s prayer, He desires to answer your prayer!

15. Question 5: What 2 objects did Daniel say the king saw in his dream?

16. Daniel 2:31, 34 “Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a g reat ima g e . Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands…”

17. Question 6: What does the head of gold represent?

18. Daniel 2:38 “Thou art this head of gold.”

19. Babylon

20. Question 7: Would the Babylonian kingdom last forever?

21. Daniel 2:39 “And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee...”

22. Medo-Persia Babylon

23. Question 8: What metal would represent the kingdom that followed Medo-Persia?

24. Daniel 2:39 “…and another third kingdom of brass , which shall bear rule over all the earth.”

25. Greece

26. Question 9: What metal represents the fourth kingdom?

27. Daniel 2:40 “And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron ...”

28. Rome

29. “ The images of gold, or silver, or brass that might serve to represent the nations and their kings were successively broken by the iron monarchy of Rome. ” The noted historian, Edward Gibbon wrote: - The History of the decline and fall of the Roman Empire , Vol. IV, 89.

30. Question 10: What would happen after the fall of the Roman Empire?

31. Daniel 2:41, 42 “The kingdom shall be divided ... And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.”

33. Daniel 2:43 “They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men… "

35. Question 11: Would these kingdoms ever succeed in uniting?

36. Daniel 2:43 “They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.”

37. God predicted the rise and fall of nations with 100% accuracy from Daniel’s day to our day.

38. Since God predicts and controls the future, we can trust Him with our future!

39. Question 12: Who will set up the final kingdom?

40. Daniel 2:44 “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed...”

41. Question 13: What does the stone do to the other world kingdoms?

42. Daniel 2:34, 35 “Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.”

43. Daniel 2:34, 35 “… and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain , and filled the whole earth.”

44. Question 14: After hearing about Daniel’s clear interpretation of the dream, what did Nebuchadnezzar say about the Lord?

45. Daniel 2:47 “The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of g ods , and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets.”

46. Because this prophecy was accurately fulfilled, we can know that Jesus is coming soon!

47. Jesus wants you to be a part of His kingdom!
