Extensive brainstorming and practice sessions were held where the teachers collaborated with each other to determine the best possible method of conducting the Activity.
The sessions which were held from 28-30 July,2020 began with the respective subject teachers defining their shared goals and individual parameters for the Activity. The emphasis was on making the exercise joyful and encouraging meaningful discussions within the virtual classroom. In conjunction with learning and discussing environmental conservation concerns, economic concepts and geographical phenomena, the students focused on effective communication skills and presentation of ideas .
The students were asked to define their learning outcomes. They responded by saying that the novel initiative inspired them to create research based projects and motivated them further to explore a theme from various perspectives. The Activity concluded on an optimistic note where both the students and teachers participated eagerly in a unique learning experience.
