7. Summary Highlights: Wards 18 and 19 Integrated Human Settlements La Rochelle Housing Project Development rights have been obtained. The project is to commence during the 2024/25 financial year. Description Departmental Comment Housing development opportunities in Klapmuts The Section: Housing Development is investigating for potential developable land especially to consider the possibility of Social Housing (Affordable Rental). Registration on the Housing Demand Database (waiting list) Applicants must bring all required documentation (IDs for applicant, partner, and dependents, proof of residence, salary slip / proof of income (if unemployed to provide SASSA).

Summar y Highlights: Wards 18 and 19 Project Management Unit (PMU) Rebuild the boundary wall at the new housing scheme situated close to the farm Arra, Klapmuts Funding must be applied for and allocated to allocate funds for the rectification of the wall. This project is not in the ambit of the PMU. Description Departmental Comment Repairing the house foundation in Klapmuts The house was handed over to the beneficiaries during the 2014/15 financial year. All the maintenance and structural repairs are the responsibility of the homeowners. Housing transfer process in Klapmuts Title Deeds Restoration programme is on going. Repairing of the damaged Wendy houses in TRA, La Rochelle An assessment will be conducted to determine the extend of the damages and a decision will be made in accordance with the findings.
