Environment Deterioration Leachates from plastic dumpsite affects soil and subsoil waters, ponds, lakes, rivers, seas and oceans. The Great Garbage Patch in the Pacific due to plastic debris. Non-biodegradable hence affects soil, water and air pollution. Plastic pollution is physical and chemical.
