Timesheet Global Items
Timesheet Global Items represent generic activities that are not
directly related to project execution. For e.g. Induction
 Training,
 
Company Meeting, Defect Filing, Conducting Interviews, etc.
The time spent on such activities have to be accounted for, so
by defining these items as Global Items, time logged against
them in Timesheets can be separately tracked.
You can add Global Items through Time Tracking view, Add
Global Task icon.

Software Configuration Management
Software Configuration Management (SCM) and version
control system helps to manage and track multiple versions of
software files.
This enables Team members in working directly with the
source code files and gives them direct access through the
SCM tools configured for the project.
For an Organization, you can define the SCM tools using the
SCM Tool List. This is a one-time setting and the defined SCM
tools can be used in various projects in the organization.
