About This Presentation

According to all known laws
of aviation,
there is no way a bee
should be able to fly.
Its wings are too small to get
its fat little body off the ground.
The bee, of course, flies anyway
because bees don't care
what humans think is impossible.
Yellow, black. Yellow, black.
Yellow, black. Yellow, ...

LESSON 2: TEACHNOLOGY AS A WAY OF REAVEALING. PRESENT BY: ABDUL HABIB G. MACUGAR

At the end of this lesson, the students should be able to: 1.explain the concept of human condition before science technology. 2.Identify the change that happened in the human condition after science technology; and 3.name ways on how technology aided in revealing the truth about human being. OBJECTIVES:

INTRODUCTION Today, technology is more than just a tool that makes life easier; it helps us discover important truths about ourselves, our society, and the world around us. This idea, often discussed in philosophy, suggests that technology c an show us things we didn’t see before. For example, the printing press made information available to everyone, changing how we communicate. Similarly, the internet connects people from all over the world, changing our interactions. By looking at how technology helps us understand our experiences, we can see how it shapes who we are and how we relate to each other. This exploration encourages us to think about both the good and the challenges of technology and how it can reveal deeper truths about being human.

Before modern science and technology, people's lives were closely linked to big questions about existence, their communities, and their cultures. Societies were built around family ties and living together, with leaders and spiritual guides helping to shape beliefs. Art and storytelling were important for sharing experiences and bringing people together. Many cultures had a strong connection to nature, often believing in spirits and nature gods. Gender roles were different in various cultures, and some showed a level of equality between men and women. While there were some technological advancements, they mainly focused on practical needs and survival. Overall, this time was rich in social, cultural, and spiritual aspects that influenced how people understood their lives and the world around them.

1. Understanding the World Before science and technology, people tried to understand the world through their observations and experiences. They noticed patterns in nature, like the changing seasons and the movement of the stars, and tried to make sense of them using myths, stories, and beliefs. This was their way of explaining things they didn’t fully understand. The following is a straightforward description of how people were before the development of modern science and technology:

2. Survival and Daily Life In ancient times, life was focused on basic survival. People hunted animals, gathered plants, and farmed to get food. They also needed shelter to protect themselves from the elements. Their daily lives were deeply connected to their environment, and they relied on their skills and knowledge passed down through generations. 3. Health and Medicine Without modern medicine, people used herbs, natural remedies, and traditional practices to treat illnesses. They believed that sickness could be caused by supernatural forces or imbalances in the body. Healers and shamans played important roles in their communities, offering treatments based on their knowledge and rituals.

After the rise of science and technology, the human condition experienced several important changes that have shaped our lives today. One of the most significant changes is the way we access information. With the invention of the internet, people can now find answers to their questions almost instantly. This easy access to information has transformed how we learn and communicate, allowing us to connect with others and share ideas across the globe. However, this vast amount of information can sometimes be overwhelming and can lead to confusion about what is true and what is not . 2.Identify the change that happened in human condition after science and technology.

Another major change is the improvement in our quality of life. Scientific advancements have led to better healthcare, which means people can live longer and healthier lives. Vaccines, medical treatments, and improved sanitation have all contributed to reducing diseases and increasing life expectancy. These advancements have made it possible for many people to enjoy a higher standard of living and better overall well-being . Technology has also changed how we interact with each other. Many people now communicate through social media and online platforms rather than face-to-face. While this has made it easier to stay in touch with friends and family, it has also changed the way we form relationships and build communities. Some people feel more isolated despite being connected online, as traditional social bonds may weaken in this digital age.

Lastly, the job market has been transformed by technology. Many new jobs have been created in fields like information technology and digital marketing, but automation has also replaced some traditional jobs. This shift means that people need to adapt and learn new skills to stay relevant in the workforce. Overall, while science and technology have brought many benefits, they have also introduced new challenges that we must navigate as a society.

1. MORTALITY RATE . Due to technology lesser women and children die during birth, assuring robust population and strong work force. medical care for premature infants allows them to survive and develop normally while proper maternal care ensure that mother can fully recover and remain empowered. Below are some of the notable comparison then and now.

2. AVERAGE LIFE SPAN . Aside from the reason that people engage less in combat and are less likely to die in treatable disease now as opposed to then science is able to prolong lives by enhancing living status and discovering different remedies to most diseases. Distribution of medicines is also made easier and faster. 3. LITERACY RATE . access to education provided to more individuals generally creates a more informed public that could determine a more just society.

4. GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT (GDP) .although not an indicator of an average person's lifestyle in a certain country it is often used to determine the value of the country's goods and services produced within the territory given a certain time period. higher country income is brought upon by high productivity often an indicator of presence of technology

3. NAME WAYS ON HOW TO TECHNOLOGY AIDED IN REVEALING THE TRUTH ABOUT HUMAN BEING.
