•ChalukyasarecreditedwithintroductionoftheirownstyleoftemplearchitecturecalledChalukyanArchitecture.
•Thisarchitecturerepresentsamixture/blendofDravidianandNagarastyles.
•HenceitisalsoreferredasVesarastyle.

•FallsinKonti-gudigroup.(considerasearliest/
primitive).
•Itissupposedthatthistempledesignfollowsthedesignofmeetinghall(संथागार)
The structure of the temple reminds us of a wooden prototype with stone walls, supporting a
slanting roof made of house.
