Arka Sasya Poshak Ras (ASPR) (A Liquid Nutrient Formulation for Soilless Vegetable Production) This formulation (comprising solutions A & B) is a unique balanced blend of macro and micronutrients which are required to support the growth of vegetables It is suitable for most commonly grown vegetables on terrace/balcony/roof top etc.

How to use ASPR for soilless vegetable production One litre each of nutrient solution viz., A and B can be diluted with 200 litres of water (5ml/litre) and applied @ 200ml per plant (tomato, chilli , colour cabbage, cucumber, ridge gourd, zucchini, cow pea). For peas and beans, 4.0 ml of solutions A and B may be diluted and applied @ 600ml per bag of size 4x1x1 feet. For leafy vegetables, 3.5 ml of solutions A and B can be diluted in one litre of water and applied @ 600ml per bag of size 4x1x1 feet. The frequency of nutrient solution application is two times per week starting from the 10th day of transplantation up to 30 days from date of sowing or transplanting and three times per week thereafter It is highly suited for cocopeat based cultivation under balcony/ terrace gardening conditions.

Advantages of Terrace Gardening Fresh, clean, tastier and healthy produce Continuous growing is possible Less time interval for next crop Low labour requirement and saving of cost on vegetables Healthy environment on the terrace Can be used as mini-park Fresh, clean air from garden make you enjoy nature Spending time in garden refresh your mind & make you feel relaxed and your hands are not bound to get dirty Reduces the temperature of your house and makes cooler Reduces the heat absorption from the terrace Acts as an insulator for the whole building (hot climate in India)
