Andhra Pradesh Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme

‘Andhra Pradesh Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme, also known as Yuva Nestham Scheme, has been
1unched to provide financial assistance to unemployed youth in the state. The newiy elected
Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri N Chandrababu Nadu., has promised to introduce the
AP Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme for the unemployed in the state. Under this Nirudyoga Bruthi
‘Scheme, unemployed youth in the state will be provided with financial assistance of Rs 3,000
per month as unemployment allowance. Another name for this scheme is the TDP Yuva
Nestham Scheme. The N. Chandrababu Naidus Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme aims to provide
benefits o the youth who are unemployed and not receiving benefits from other schemes, and
they will be provided with financial assistance unt they find a job.

‘The application process was simplified through an online platform. Eligible candidates were
required to register on the official website and provide necessary documents such as proof of
residence, age, education, and bank details, Once verified, the beneficiaries receive the
allowance direct in their monthly bank accounts. This TDP scheme's eligblty criteria is that
they had to be permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh. The applicants age had to be between

22 and 35 years. They should have completed at least an intermediate level of education (12th
grade). Applicants should not be receiving any other similar financial assistance from the
‘government. The Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme was wel-received by many, especially by those who
were struggling to find employment due to limited opportunites or lack of specialized skils. For
many beneficiaries, the monthly allowance of 21,000 helped cover basic expenses, allowing
them to focus on ski development or further education. With the help of other TDP MLAs and
N. Chandrababu Naidu, the scheme also created awareness about various skill development
programs and training opportunities available to the youth, enabling them to build competencies
required for the job market. Some argued that the allowance amount was too low to make a
‘meaningful impact on the lives of the unemployed. Others pointed out that while the scheme
provided temporary relief, it did not address the structural issues that contribute to
‘unemployment, such as the lack of job opportunities and inadequate industrial growth in the
state, There were also concerns about the sustainabilty of the scheme, given the fiscal
Constraints ofthe state government.

‘The TOP TDP Government must focus on strengthening the state's economy, fostering
innovation, and encouraging private sector participation to create more jobs. A multi-faceted
strategy that combines financial support with ski development, industry collaboration, and
entrepreneurship promotion can pave the way for a more prosperous future for Andhra
Pradesh youth. While the Nirudyoga Bruthi Scheme was a step in the right direction, it also
‘underscored the complexities of addressing unemployment. A holistic approach that addresses
both immediate needs and long-term goals is necessary to empower the youth and build a
resilent and vibrant economy in Andhra Pradesh. To know more about this scheme, follow the
