WHY WAS THIS ROAD BUILT? Route built for military purposes . They wanted to conquest Southern Italy .

WHERE was this road built ? The road goes from Rome to Brindisi > military expeditions , travels, trades. To connect with Greece , the East and Egypt . From the Forum Romanum , it passed through the Servian Wall at the Porta Capena and left the city.
