The Appian Way was the main Roman Road which does not exist anymore nowadays. It teaches students some interesting characteristics of the Ancient Roman Empire.

5. WHERE was this road built ? The road goes from Rome to Brindisi > military expeditions , travels, trades. To connect with Greece , the East and Egypt . From the Forum Romanum , it passed through the Servian Wall at the Porta Capena and left the city.
