Takeaways Materials used in the crafting of Steinway Pianos: More than 12,000 parts are used in the crafting process. T he Sitka Spruce is an essential part in the crafting process. This is the most long lasting and resonant material among all woods. This is found in Alaska. Solid copper-wound brass is used for the strings. Nickel or gold plated brass is used for the pedals. Merino wool is used for the hammers, sourced from Australia and Africa ( a product of the Merino sheep). The Sitka Spruce forests are protected by the forest conservation acts. There is constant replenishment of the trees which are felled for the sourcing of wood for various woodcrafts and musical instruments.

15 Song of The Week-’Don’t Worry Be Happy’ ( A Capella)

16 Lyrics and Audio Here's a little song I wrote You might want to sing it note for note Don't worry, be happy In every life we have some trouble But when you worry, you make it double Don't worry, be happy Don't worry, be happy now Don't worry (Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) Be happy (Ooh-ooh-ooh) Don't worry, be happy (Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) Don't worry Be Happy ( Repeat) Ain't got no place to lay your head Somebody came and took your bed Don't worry, be happy The landlord say your rent is late He may have to litigate Don't worry, be happy (look at me, I'm happy) Don't worry (Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) Be happy Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style Ain't got no gal to make you smile But don't worry, be happy 'Cause when you worry your face will frown And that will bring everybody down So don't worry, be happy Don't worry, be happy now (Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) Be happy (Ooh-ooh-ooh) Don't worry, be happy (Ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh) Don't worry Be Happy ( Repeat)

Pointers Differentiate between singing voice and speaking voice. If in doubt regarding the tune, pause for a while and don’t sing along or you may not be aware of your mistakes. Practice a song in small parts at a time Remember- A scale provides the building blocks to melodies.
