What is Poem and Poetry? A poem is a collection of spoken or written words that expresses ideas or emotions in powerfully vivid and imaginative style. A poem is compromised of a particular rhythmic and metrical pattern. Poetry is a type of literature which evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through language chosen and arranged for its meaning, sound and rhythm
