Present continuous : change , progress , temporary , uncertainty , indirect (formal) 1 Permanent vs. Temporary I live in Carabanchel/ You are such a complicated person VS. I’m staying with my brother right now before I move to my new place/ Why are you being so difficult today ? 2 Permanent vs. change and progress The birth rate is very low in Spain VS. Birth rate is getting lower and lower 3 Neutral vs. indirect , more formal I need some money , I hope you can lend me some VS.
