THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE Learning to Prophesy April 22, 2020

Dictionaries - Baker's Evangelical Dictionary of Biblical Theology - Know, Knowledge The Old Testament. The Hebrew root yada [ [;d"y ],translated "know"/"knowledge, " appears almost 950 times in the Hebrew Bible. It has a wider sweep than our English word "know, " including perceiving, learning, understanding, willing, performing, and experiencing. To know is not to be intellectually informed about some abstract principle, but to apprehend and experience reality. Knowledge is not the possession of information, but rather its exercise or actualization.

Thus, biblically to know God is not to know about him in an abstract and impersonal manner, but rather to enter into his saving actions (  Micah 6:5  ). To know God is not to struggle philosophically with his eternal essence, but rather to recognize and accept his claims. It is not some mystical contemplation, but dutiful obedience. https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/know-knowledge/

T he fact or condition of knowing something with familiarity gained through experience or  association A cquaintance with or understanding of a science, art, or technique T he fact or condition of being aware of something T he range of one's information or understanding answered to the best of my  knowledge T he circumstance or condition of  apprehending  truth or fact through reasoning  :  COGNITION T he fact or condition of having information or of being learned a person of unusual  knowledge

God’s definition of knowledge In Hebrew, “to know” doesn’t mean to have head knowledge of something, but it means to have an intimate, experiential, transforming knowledge. In the Book of Genesis, God says that Adam “knew his wife, and she conceived and bore” a son (Genesis 4:1). In this case, “Knowing” resulted in the conception of a baby. Obviously this knowing is by intimate experience,  that  kind of knowledge is the only concept that exists in God’s economy.

IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REVELATION KNOWLEDGE God’s revelation is to your spirit. Knowing something in your spirt will cause you to take action. It works in your mind causing your thoughts to be renewed . It becomes a compelling force causing you to live accordingly. It moves you from one level of glory to another. Revelation Knowledge imparts wisdom. HEAD KNOWLEDGE Knowing something in the head will not cause you to act upon it. You can decide to do it later or to look for a better solution. Head, or sense knowledge will not be a driving force. You can know a lot about the subject but because is not in your heart you will not do it.

1 Corinthians 2:12 (NKJV) 12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God . The Spirit of the Lord makes us aware of the things of God Clearly there are two spirits in this equation. One, the worldly spirit that is not given by God and profits nothing. The second, from God, who makes us aware of the things of God

The spirit of the World The spirit of the world can be understood as a demonic spirit, Satan in particular. A mind set that is opposed to the Spirit of God. Human wisdom, as expressed in secular philosophies and worldly wisdom. Satanism Shamanism Rosicrucianism Gnosticism Metaphysics Zoroastrianism Philosophy Esoterism in general..

THE SPIRIT WHICH IS FROM GOD Helps us to become aware of the things that are ours in Christ. Making us aware does not mean that we already know them. When we are in this stage we may think that what we come to realize from the bible doesn’t work for us, or that we have made a mistake somewhere and we are not able to obtain the promises written in the Word of God. But there is no mistake, so far the Spirit of Knowledge has only made you aware of things. But that is not all.

THE SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE GIVES US FULL UNDERSTANDING Ephesians 3:17-19  (NKJV) 17  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  18  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—  19  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge ; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Pay attention to know and knowledge

To know, from the Greek “ginosko” which is revelation knowledge, meaning absolute knowledge. Meaning to know the absolute love of Christ by revelation! Knowledge, from the Greek “gnosis” which means knowledge based on science, a discovery To ginosko the love of Christ which surpasses gnosis. To have a revelation of the love of Christ which surpasses scientific knowledge or human discovery

Knowing the love of Christ is beyond our senses and all human definitions. It is by revelation! It is not something that just happens. It comes by revelation of the SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE.

Philemon 6 New King James Version (NKJV) 6  that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in  [ a ] you in Christ Jesus.

Acknowledgment from the Greek “epignosis” Epignosis is a derivate word from the Greek “epiginosko” Epiginosco; “epi” and “ginosko” meaning to recognize, perceive, or become fully acquainted We receive this knowledge and we are brought into this knowledge. This is an “esoteric” knowledge as it is only for the initiated. The Spirit of Knowledge brings us into a state of initiated

Paul says that the communication, the sharing of our faith brings us into an acknowledgement of every good thing that are in us in Christ Jesus. Do you know these good things? Only the Spirit of Knowledge can help us to fully know and understand them. He will not only helps us to discover this things, He will bring us into full knowledge of this things and how to put them to work. As a result a supernatural life will be ours.

WE HAVE GINOSKO 1 Corinthians 2:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV) Spiritual Wisdom 6  However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.  7  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden  wisdom  which God  [ a ] ordained before the ages for our glory,  8  which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 New King James Version (NKJV) 9  But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

These are the things that the Spirit of Knowledge working in us reveal them to us. We don’t try to find knowledge about God. He reveals things to us by His Spirit. He will first make us aware of them. Then will bring you into full knowledge

When we have this knowledge and understanding of these things, Our mentality will be affected. On some things we will not reason anymore. Our mind, this is our whole mentality an the process on thinking will become renewed through the Word. When revelation knowledge comes to our spirit, we’ll be shuttle to a higher realm of life.

We need to get acquainted with Him. He is the Teacher. He will teach the Word of God. He will impart into your spirit the revelation of God’s Word that will allow you to walk is His wisdom, power, and glory. There is none like our God. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Halleluja!
