Theoretical, actual and percent yield reporter: micaella taban beed 1-3 day

Theoretical Yield - This is how much product will be synthesized in ideal conditions. -For reaction is calculated Based on the Limiting Reagent. This allows researchers to determine how much Product can actually be formed based on the reagents present at the beginning of the reaction

Actual Yield This is how much Product was actually synthesized in the experiment.

Percent Yield The percent yield is the ratio between Actual and Theoretical Yield multiplied by 100%. It indicates the percent of the theoretical yield that was obtained from the final product in an experiment

Formula Actual Yield Percent yield = -------------------- x 100% Theoretical Yield

Example: What is the percent yield of the following reaction if 6O grams of CaCO ₃ is heated to give 15 grams of CaO ? CaCO ₃ CaO+CO ₂
