15. Junior High School Students. They are the chosen respondents of the researchers, the chosen one to answer the research questions and the source of the data collected. Effectiveness of Homework. It refers to the progress of the academic performance of Junior High School students. Homework Activities. Refers to the task given by the teacher.

19. 3.3 DATA GATHERING PROCEDURE

20. The following steps were undertaken to successfully conduct the study. Step1. Construction of instrument. The researchers invented an instrument to be used in there study. There has three questions about the importance of homework activities. Step2. Revision of the instrument. After the questions were formulated, researchers submitted it to there subject teacher in Practical Research 1 to acquire some suggestion for the revision of the Instrument afterwards. Step3. Asking Permission. The researchers asked permission to the chosen respondents to conduct their study.

21. Step4. Floating of questionare. After asking permission, the chosen respondents heartily accept the researchers favor, then the questionare were distributed. Step5. Collection of data by the help and cooperation of Junior High School students the data are successfully collected.
