1. PEDAL OPERATED HAND WASHING STATION By Thirdev.T.K Class- V/A

2. Sanitizing hands without physically touching the water tap and soapy water or other liquid soap dispensers is mandatory. Problem Statement: However, the existing handwashing facilities are such that before washing hands, the contaminated hands are used to turn on the taps and therefore contaminate the taps. Just after washing the hands, the washed hands are used in turning off the contaminated taps and thus, recontaminating the hands.

3. Stage 1:The Introduction Nowadays Washing and sanitization of hands has changed from a basic etiquette to an utmost necessity as cleaning of hands has proven to completely eliminate the virus and keeps us from infecting ourselves and others. Foot Operated Hand Wash Dispenser is very useful because of its hands-free mechanism which helps to sanitize hands without getting in contact with the sanitizing surfaces. The station is mechanically operated by foot.

8. My Findings : 1.When the steel materials get in contact with water it will get corroded. 2. The tap was installed should be tested for one month for proper functioning.
