16. 18 PROJECT # 1 EMBROIDERED PILLOW CASE   Directions: Perform the given task stated below .   Find and look for any of your available pillow cases at home (plain and simple, the better) Be ready with your tools and materials as well. Tools and Materials:  Any available plain pillow case of any size  Crewel or chenille needles from 5 to 7.  Spool of thread. (Different colors)  Pin cushion.  Sewing Box.  Scissors

17. 19 Layout your own design and apply as many types of embroidery stitches as you can, of course applying also the principles of design. Use your Project Plan created before. You may use different colors of thread so that each stitches can be easily identified and much visible. Use any of the available project packaging for your created embroidered article. You must finish it together with the activity on the week it was intended for. (you only have 2 weeks to accomplish this project) You will be graded according to the rubrics below. Also, answer the self-assessment questions that follows to better evaluate your performance. Notes:  You may ask the help of your parents/guardian in looking for the best pillow case to use  Take extra care when handling needles, scissors or any pointed objects found in your sewing box.  Observe the Safety and Precautionary Measures) (see Module1 Week1)  Avoid using light colored thread when using light colored pillow cases and vice versa
