4. Degree in Civil Engineering : Paper I – Civil Engineering(Code No.101). Degree in Mechanical Engineering : Paper I – Mechanical Engineering (Code No. 102). Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalence in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering : Paper I – Electrical Engineering (Code No. 103 ) . Assistant Engineer (Planning) posts in Corporations and Town Planning Officer Grade-II / Assistant Engineer (Planning) posts in Municipalities possessing degree in Civil Engineering will write Paper I – Civil Engineering (Code No.101). Assistant Engineer (Planning) posts in Corporations and Town Planning Officer Grade-II / Assistant Engineer (Planning) posts in Municipalities and possessing Degree in Architecture will write Paper I – Architecture (Code No.105). Sanitary Inspector posts , will write Paper I – Public Health and Sanitation (Code No.110).

5. Diploma in Civil Engineering , will write Paper I – Civil Engineering (Code No.201). Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , will write Paper I – Mechanical Engineering (Code No.202). Diploma in Electrical Engineering, will write Paper I – Electrical Engineering (Code No.203 ). Town Planning Inspector/Junior Engineer (Planning) posts in municipalities and possessing Diploma in civil Engineering will write Paper I – Civil Engineering (Code No.201). Assistant Engineer (Planning) in Corporations, Town Planning Officer Grade-II / Assistant Engineer (Planning) posts in Municipalities and Town Planning Inspector / Junior Engineer (Planning) posts in Municipalities and possessing degree in town planning will write Paper I – Town planning (Code No.104) and they should write Paper – II General Studies in Degree standard (Code No.301) as well as Paper –II General Studies in Diploma Standard (Code No.401 ) . Town Planning Inspector/Junior Engineer (Planning) posts in municipalities and possessing Diploma in Architecture will write Paper I – Architecture (Code No.205).
