electronic entertainment and French record producer, specializing in Sound house.
It began as such in several nightclubs during the 80s and 90s, before he founded Gum Productions and
launch what would be his first album: Just a little more love in 2001. Years later come Guetta Blaster in 2004,
Pop Life in 2007, One successful love in 2009. throughout his career has sold over 7.2 million copies, a record

Tijs Michiel Verwest was born on January 17, 1969 in Breda, Netherlands. Better known as Tiësto, is a
musician, DJ, remixer and producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past,
he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. In its latest production, however, he has taken "DJ" label and is
now known simply as "Tiësto", an alias which is a twist of his childhood nickname of.
In 1997 he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where the series was launched Magik and
In Search Of Sunriseen CD. In 1999 and 2000 he collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella.
In 2000, his remixed version of "Silence" for Delerium with Sarah McLachlan, exposed him to a more
mainstream audience. In 2001 he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major
thrusts launching his career.
Just after releasing his second studio album Just Be in 2004 in the 2004 Olympics he performed live at the
opening ceremony in Athens, becoming the first DJ to play live on stage at the Olympic Games.Topics that
