University of Edinburgh Credit Scoring Credit Scoring Emphasis The emphasis will be on the practicalities and the issues that arise in the business and credit world. As a result, there will be uncertainties and opinions. Not everything we look at has a single correct answer. We will consider several modelling methodologies, but we will not explore these too deeply; that is for other modules and courses. We simply need to get an appreciation of what they are and their strengths and weaknesses.
