1. TEAM OF SOCIAL SERVICE (TOSS) “ I am a man and all that affects mankind concerns me.”

WHO WE ARE We are a team of students and youngsters from all around Tamil Nadu, joined together to cultivate individual social responsibility and bring about social transformation, which would in time result in the development of humanity. We are registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Act 1975. And we operate both independently and along with the other NGOs, who share our vision.TOSS was founded in Tiruchirapalli District on 19th March 2009. Now we have two branches in Chennai and Tuticorin.We have a strength of 150 members throughout the state. And we specialize in event management and voluntary services.We have our original events such as TOSS Talent Fest, Limitless and TOSS Eyes Bucket Challenge, which we organize annually to the benefit of the society and student community in special. TOSS is recognized by many Colleges, NGOs and Government bodies all around Tamil Nadu. And we are highly motivated to extend our service further with all the help we can get. We aspire to lead India into a much brighter tomorrow.

7. TOSS TALENT FEST (TTF) We annually organize 'Talent Fest', District-Level cultural and sports event for special children and differently-abled.

MORE ABOUT - TOSS TALENT FEST (TTF) TOSS Talent Fest is a special program conducted by T OSS team for special children and physically challenged people with the aim of making the society to recognize and acknowledge their various latent talents. We are conducting this event consecutively for the last six years. Beneficiaries: Special Children Physically Challenged Youngsters T OSS Talent Fest program was first conducted in the year 201 1 .The program was initiated with the intention of bringing out the cultural and athletic talent of special children and physically challenged youngsters.

9. TOSS EYES BUCKET CHALLENGE We promote Eye Donation awareness through this unique, innovative approach to spread the importance of the cause. DO YOU KNOW??? A pair of eyes can give vision to four individuals!!!

10. LIMITLESS Limitless is an event to provide Free educational DVDs to hearing impaired students for Competitive exams by professional trainers and field experts with latest techniques.We are planning for the next version which possibly coming soon.

11. OPERATION OXYGEN [O2] O2 has a mission of setting and spreading healthy greens in the Earth. O2 is a process of generating Oxygen and Carbon sequestrating from air for strong atmosphere. Trees will be planted with fence and the awareness will be given to the surroundings on the importance of tress.We planned to spread farming progress in a unique way, in order to create peace, serenity and harmony among people

12. ON E R UPEE, ON E N A TION (O R ON) To instil the importance of savings and social responsibility, each member of TOSS save one rupee a day. By the end of every 2 months we use the saved money to help orphans and poor students for their education. One Rupee, One Nation also includes One Rupee, One Meal and One Rupee, One Education.

13. THE HERO BAND In TOSS, we concentrate mainly on imparting Leadership Skills for our team members. In order to do it well, we need to break the typical organizational structure of command and introduce a new commanding style where we can have temporary leaders for each and every activity. This method will give an opportunity to any member to be a person holding all the responsibility for a particular event or activity. All other members are advised to follow his/her leadership for the entire execution temporarily. The ‘Hero Band’ is passed down to a member by the Team president, symbolizing the passing down of all commands and power to that individual temporarily. Now, anyone can be the superior leader of the Team and experience it first hand what it takes to be a Top Leader. The wearer of the Hero Band or the ‘Hero’ is chosen by voting or by volunteer initiative.

14. KAR M A VEERAR A W ARD Annually, we give out an award for an individual who is socially aware and committed to social causes.We search for individuals who possess social valour and inspire others to follow their foot steps. The award is called “ Karma Veerar Award ”, the words ‘karma Veera’ refer to a person who is ethically superior and whose actions bear fruitful consequences for the society.We love motivating such people to be more and do more.

15. TOSS INDIA MOVEMENT To aid India in the process of evolving into a developed country by 2025. TOSS jointly with NSS[ National Service Scheme] of Bharathidasan university conducted a Social Thinking Carnival [STC] to 500 arts and science college students in and around Trichy and Tanjore regarding ‘World Humanitarian Day’. The main objective of the program is to cultivate the social responsibility of the students community. TOSS India MOVEMENT
