What is Competency based training? Competency Based Training is a training delivery approach that focuses On the competency development of the trainee as a result of the training .

Training delivery is learner- centered and should accommodate Individualized and self-paced learning strategies; 4 . Training is based on work that must be performed; 5. Training materials are directly related to the competency standards and curriculum modules;
