Vamsapala ID:5301201125 Transformational leadership Theory Subject: Religion and Leadership Lacturer : Dr. Juthamas Vareesangthip

Introduction Transformational leadership is about implementing new ideas, continual to change the maintain relevance to get social change theory depend on situation to improve into modern civilization.

James MacGregor Burns (1978) first introduced the concept of transforming leadership

General Approach Relationship Building Trust and Communication Make understanding People

Building theory Charisma ( qualities) Inspirational motivation (creation) Intellectual stimulation ( new theory) Individual consideration ( growth)

Two concepts “Transforming leadership” “Transactional leadership” According to Burns, the transforming approach creates significant change in the life of people and organizations. Unlike in the transactional approach, it is not based on a "give and take" relationship, but on the leader's personality, traits and ability to make a change through example, articulation of an energizing vision and challenging goals.

Conclusion In my opinion, Transformational leadership is about innovation. Style of leadership in which the leader identifies the needed change, creates a vision to guide the change through inspiration, and executes the change with the commitment of the members of the group.

Thank You !!!
