Go Foods – Energy Giving (Carbohydrates/ Fats) Grow Foods – Body Building (Proteins, Iron, Calcium) Glow Foods – Protection (Vitamins, Minerals, Antioxidants)

OBJECTIVES: 2 2 Perfect! Compute the value of items traded in the barter place. Explain the relationship of overconsumption and over-production to our lives and the environment. Perform a mock 3Gs grocery using the cash accumulated from the barter.

Consumption? 2 2 -refers to the act of using or utilizing goods and services to satisfy our needs and desires. It includes the processes of purchasing, utilizing, and enjoying products or services. Like: food, clothing, electronics, entertainment.

Production? 2 2 -means development and creation of goods and services using resources. It is the physical output of manufacturing or service company. It involves three processes – raw materials, work in process and finished goods. Examples: canned goods, factory, cars, electronics, etc …
