@Civil_Engineering101
Types Of Civil Engineers
Structural Engineer-
they specialise in the design and
construction of buildings, bridges towers,
dams, e.t.c. they take into consideration
safety during construction and use,
aesthetics, economic delivery, and
sustainability.

@Civil_Engineering101
Types Of Civil Engineers
Forensic Engineers-
They investigate the collapse of buildings
and other structures (e.g bridges) and
produce reports on them in order to prevent
such collapses from happening in future or
existing structures.

@Civil_Engineering101
Types Of Civil Engineers
Water Engineer-
they focus on harnessing the power of
water to generate useful forms of energy
(e.g electricity) and also prevent the
destructive force of water, as in floods from
destroying our communities. Some of them
also specialise in water purification (e.g
sewage treatment)

@Civil_Engineering101
Types Of Civil Engineers
Transport Engineer-
They focus on the creation, coordination
and maintenance of any transport systems
(aeroplanes, trains, trams, motorways,
waterways, e.t.c) and ancillary facilities
(control tower, communication lines, e.t.c)
inorder to make them as efficient as
possible.

@Civil_Engineering101
Types Of Civil Engineers
Construction Management-
They coordinate all activities within a
project and make sure that each
construction activity is done within its time
limit and is held to high standards of
delivery.

@Civil_Engineering101
Types Of Civil Engineers
Geotechnical Engineer-
they coordinate ground investigations and
study how the ground interacts with our
man-made structures in order to ensure
that the construction and use of buildings,
bridges and railways are as safe as
possible. Some of them specialise in
designing earthquake resistant structures
to reduce the effect of earthquakes on
man-made structures
