TYPES OF INTERVIEW PRESENTED BY: FAHAD AKRAM

To introduce yourself professionally in an interview, start with a polite greeting, state your full name, mention your educational background and relevant work experience, highlight key skills and strengths, briefly share your career objective, and express gratitude for the opportunity. Panel interview A panel interview is a conversation with two or more team members of a hiring team. The panel might include your potential supervisor, a human resources representative or other decision-makers. In a panel interview, each member has an opportunity to ask you questions about your experience, qualifications and goals. Group interview Group interviews are a popular method used by employers to interview multiple candidates at the same time. It is a cost-effective and efficient way to assess a group of candidates and see how they interact with each other.

Stress interview A Stress Interview is a type of job interview in which the interviewer intentionally creates a stressful or uncomfortable situation for the candidate. The goal of a Stress Interview is to see how the candidate handles stress, pressure, and unexpected or uncomfortable situations. The stress interview is also referred to as a stress test. In a stress interview, candidates are different types of questions. One to One interview A one-on-one interview is a qualitative research method in which an interviewer engages in a face-to-face conversation with a single participant or interviewee. This format allows for a focused and personalized interaction between the interviewer and the interviewed individual. Structured interview When we collect data for research work and every question is in order do not change the question everything is in control and where you ask the same predetermined questions to all candidates in the same order and you rate them with a standardized scoring system.

Unstructured interview An unstructured interview is a free-flowing conversation between a researcher and participant. The interviewer has a broad research question that guides their interest in conducting the Interview. But the interview questions are not decided beforehand. And most of the interview are Semi structured interview A semi-structured interview is a qualitative research method that combines a pre-determined set of open questions that prompt discussion with the opportunity for the interviewer to explore particular themes or responses further. Job interview A job interview is a selection process used by organizations to help determine whether a job candidate has the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job. It may also be used to see if there is a good fit between the applicant and organization from a standpoint of culture and values.

Research interview It is important for researchers to design an effective and insightful method of data collection on a particular topic. A research interview is typically a two-person meeting conducted to collect information on a certain topic. It is a qualitative data collection method to gain primary information.
