Types of Mixture

1. - is anything that occupied space and has mass.

2. Classification of Matter Substances are made only one type of atom and one type of molecules. Element is a pure chemical substance made of same type of atom. Compound is contain of different elements in a fixed ratio.

3. “ANG SAVEH” MECHANICS: Class will be divided into two. Guess the word uttered by representative in front. -meaning you are going to say the word without sound. First group to get 3 pts. will be declared as winner.

5. MIXTURE Is a two or more substances that are not chemically combine.

7. Homogeneous Mixture -The prefix “homo” means the same. -Uniform distribution within the mixture. -( can’t pull stuff out )

8. Heterogeneous Mixture -The prefix “hetero” ” indicates difference. -The substances are not uniformly mix. - ( can pull pieces out )

9. Oil and Water do not mix because oil is less dense than water.
