Is any use of word, voice, action or lack of action meant to control, hurt or demean another person . Emotional Abuse

is any force or coerced sexual act or behavior motivated to acquire power and control over partner. Sexual Abuse

Prevention Speak out :talk out to people and do not ignore. Educate : the young people about domestic abuse. Nonverbal Signals :to understand what are the signs of domestic abuse.

Risks Planning to leave or has recently left an abusive relationship Previously in an abusive relationship Poverty or poor living situations
