Objectives of UNDP
Functions of UNDP Sponsors innovative projects & local based development programs. Work with countries to strengthen their national response to HIV & AIDS. Promote fair & inclusive election with a special focus on women & marginalized people. Helps countries to prevent natural disaster & recover crisis. Raises climate related funds. Provide facilities to access & manage national & international resources.

Millennium Development Goals of UNDP In 2000, 189 countries met after UN meeting to ensure stable worldwide economy and social development. They agreed on 8 goals to be achieved by 2015. These are shown in a video clip.
Limitations of UNDP Projects are not implemented in time. Poor people are not facilitated properly. In developing countries project implementation is tough. Political interference. Coordination problem.
