3. What is Art?
Art is a way to convey inner feelings, ideas, and thoughts
about the world around us. It is the expression or
application of human creative ability and imagination,
usually in the shape of something visual, like a painting or a
sculpture, creating works that are valued primarily for their
aesthetic appeal or emotional impact. We perform art; it is
a verb. Although while art is a vehicle for us to
communicate our ideas, feelings, intuitions, and wishes, it
also allows us to share how we view the world, which for
many people is a reflection of who they are as people.

ART HAS BEEN CREATED BY ALL
PEOPLE OF THE WORLD AT ALL
TIMES; IT HAS LIVED BECAUSE IT
IS LIKED AND ENJOYED.
THE ELEMENTS AND FORMS OF
ART APPLY TO ALL ARTS
EVERYWHERE.

WORDS ARE SOMETIMES
INCLUDED AND CAN BE AN
EFFECTIVE COMPLEMENT.
IT GIVES A CHANCE TO THE
PERSON DRAWING THE ART
TO EXPRESS THEIR FEELINGS
AND THOUGHTS IN ANOTHER
FORM BECAUSE SOMETIMES
ART EXPLAINS A PERSON
BETTER THAT WORDS.

We cannot dispute that art is changing as
technology develops, yet a work of art is
proof that age or time are not factors in the
creation of art, regardless of when it was
done.
In other words, art has always been a part of
our lives and always will be. Hence, it
continues to be timeless and ageless.

experience occurs. Artists use their experiences to ventilate
their feelings through the works that they make. Some artists
focus on societal problems, issues, and concerns. Some of
them use expressionism to communicate strong and intense
feelings. They reflect in their works on the brink of socio-
cultural problems because of their experiences.
