About Taylor Frame
•Taylor frame is a Mathematical device used in
developed countries to teach primary level
mathematics to blind and visually impaired
children.
•There are two types of Taylor frame available
one is
•Mini Taylor Frame with types and
•Large Taylor Frame with Types
•Two Types of pegs are used in the Taylor
frame
•One is for doing arithmetic and it is called as
Arithmetic pegs used to put numbers and
mathematical symbols.
•And other one is called as Algebraic pegs used
to do algebraic sums.
Shape of the cell
•The Taylor frame is in
rectangular shape and it
has 22 rows and 18
coloumn (22X18)
•It is star-shaped eight-
angled holes, and metal
type. Now it available in
Plastic also.
•It has place to put pegs.
