2. El principio de  autonomía universitaria  sostiene que la universidad debe ser autónoma y auto-gobernada, eligiendo sus propias autoridades sin injerencia del poder político, y dándose sus propios estatutos y programas de estudio . AUTONOMÍA UNIVERSITARIA

3. El principio de  cogobierno  alude al gobierno compartido de la universidad por parte de los diferentes sectores de la comunidad universitaria. El reclamo tradicional de la Reforma Universitaria es el  cogobierno  igualitario por parte de docentes y estudiantes . COGOBIERNO
