Project Objectives These objectives are designed to foster innovative approaches, strengthen capacity, and promote social cohesion to prevent violent extremism in seven - 07 districts of Karachi. Objectives: To foster innovation, build capacity, and promote social cohesion to prevent violent extremism. To promote transparency, empowerment, and peace- building to prevent violent extremism To leverage HANDS Pakistan's experience in capacity building of peace ambassadors and other initiatives for sustainable development. Improve policy coherence and coordination among stakeholders for effective PVE.

Plan Project Activities Activities 01: I dentification and selection of 14 potential Youth Ambassadors from 07 districts 2 from each district of Karachi. Activities 02: D evelop a training manual and train 14 Youth Ambassadors as master trainers in peacebuilding, transparency, and empowerment for extremism, GBV, relevant Laws, and community mobilization . Activities 03: C onducted 70 awareness- raising sessions with different communities and stakeholders on peacebuilding, transparency, and empowerment for extremism, GBV, sexual exploitation, and abuse, and relevant laws and disseminated IEC material for the Behavior change communication (BCC) and discussions on the role of peacebuilding in preventing violent extremism through our trained Youth Ambassadors.

Plan Project Activities Activities 04, E- Commerce Training Program “develop a training manual and select 175 youth from 7 selected districts of Karachi 25 from each district trained on E- Commerce Training Program aims to empower entrepreneurs and businesses with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in the digital marketplace. Trained Youth will gain expertise in various aspects of E- commerce, including uploading products to Daraz, digital marketing strategies, Canva training for graphic design, and Cap cut for video content creation. Activities 05: O rganize 01 Provincial level Seminar and invite the political leaders, influential persons, MPAs, MNAs, and all stakeholders for lobbying and advocacy purposes. 200 people sensitized and mobilized regarding Violent extremism and the promotion of peacebuilding. Activities 06: O rganize 07 district- level Seminars and invite the district- level stakeholders for lobbying and advocacy purposes. 700 people sensitized and mobilized regarding Violence extremism and the promotion of peacebuilding.

Project Methodology HANDS Pakistan, with 44 years of experience in project implementation, has developed a robust Network of MARVI workers, in Pakistan HANDS has 6000 MARVI workers along with 7000 Community- Based Organizations (CBOs) and thousands of volunteers who are playing a vital role in grassroots mobilization and sustainability. In Karachi, HANDS has 700 MARVI workers who will work as mobilizers in suggested intervention areas of Karachi as these entities are already active in seven districts of Karachi. The project team will utilize these established networks to identify and engage youth as Youth Ambassadors and achieve the project objectives through a systematic and sustainable approach. HANDS will engage MARVI workers in community awareness sessions, support the district-level team in conducting awareness sessions, and distribute IEC materials at the household level.

Project Methodology HANDS Pakistan, will hire and engage the Consultants/Trainers regarding the development of the Training Manuals, training conductions, material development, and BCC IEC material. HANDS will engage the consultant/trainers in the following activities. Training of Trainers (ToT) for 14 Youth Ambassadors Development of Manual for Youth Ambassador Training for 175 Youths on E- Commerce Development of E- Commerce Manuals and material development

Selection and Criteria for Youth Selection Criteria Youth Ambassadors: Age: Education: Location: Availability: Motivation: Positive Attitude : Resilience: Typically, between 18 and 30 years. High school certificate or equivalent. Residing in the target areas/UC and District of the project. Commitment to training and work in the field according to the decided activities. Genuine interest in peacebuilding, social change, GBV, and community development. Enthusiastic and optimistic outlook. Ability to handle challenges and setbacks.
