4. •ISIF Asia Grants recently announced
•Total of USD 1.675 million across 21 grant
projects.
•Grants across 17 economies
•Strong focus on Inclusion with 11 grants. Of
those inclusion grants, 5 are Ian Peter
Grants for Internet and the Environment.
•Full list, including individual project pages
for every grant, already live on Foundation
site.
•ISIF Asia Awards 2024 recently recognized
9 Awardees from around the Pacific and
Oceania.

5. •Switch! is now supporting its third cohort.
150 participants (25 from each of the
participating economies, Cambodia, Laos,
the Philippines, Thailand, Timor Leste, Viet
Nam).
•A total of 350 women or gender diverse
individuals supported across all three
groups.
•The 2024 group has completed three out of
six National Events, most recently Viet Nam.
Every economy and every group has a
National Event in which participants can
network and connect with their peers.

6. •Last year’s Afghanistan project was
scaled up to Digital Leap South Asia
•Supporting Internet industry
professionals in Afghanistan, Pakistan
and Maldives. Some are diaspora now
living elsewhere
•2024 group includes 24 from
Afghanistan, 27 from Pakistan and 10
from Maldives for a total of 61
participants; 30% are women
•Recently featured at APrIGF in Taiwan
