Azure Event Hubs Geo-Replication:  across the multiple regions; available for Public P review as of June 24, 2024 . Emulator: Container supported in Windows and Linux. AMQP support. The  emulator  is for the dev/test purposes only. Kafka:  Now the Event Hubs supports 100% Kafka Compatibility for the transactions and Streaming ( P ublic P review). Schema Registry:  Event Hubs supports JSON Schema (GA) for validation, Protobuf (Public Preview) and Avro Schema which are required for decoding.
